of life’s black and white (again)

There is something about these black and white cookies that many absolutely adore. Dunk them, lick them, or just go all Cookie Monster and savagely rip them to bits;– whatever your choice of poison, Oreo cookies bring even the most shy schoolgirl to the grumpy serving lady at the snack counter.

Wanted something different from my first bake with Oreos, and so I ended up with a large batch of Oreo cupcakes instead, all thanks to a lovely Flickr contact. These turned out really moist, and the sisters repeatedly gave raving reviews, so I can’t wait for the next large gathering, to whip these up.

Hey liz, I got mine from cold storage as well. Maybe you can try the Holland V outlet. Alternatively, you can just use vanilla buttercream frosting, but mix in crushed Oreo’s.
